I grew up the society that we must be skinny. Women’s magazines always make new trends of dieting like low-carbs and ketogenic, and pharmaceutic company sells new diet pills. Food manufacturers love to add the labels “low in fat”, “fat-free”, and “diet”. Is it really targeting to improve our health? When can we end stop thinking about diet?
It really lacks the essence of quality of life because we have been controlled by manufactures and gimmick magazine articles one after another.
Certainly, I agree with the idea to maintain healthy weight and the moderate levels of physical activity for our health. However, we have been likely to be defeated by the concept of “fake diet” which generates the idea that “we are not good enough.” Is it so?
Maintaining health weight and adapting regular physical activities are important external essences to pursuit our happy life. When we accept who we are and love ourselves, we can change how to take care of our bodies.
Health is not only derived from physical wellness without illnesses but also it includes mental, emotional, social, environmental, and spiritual wellness. Psychologically speaking, 97% of our actions are done subconsciously. Then, our eating habits and exercise regulation are influenced by our unconsciously visualized image of our brains.
When we approach from the mind control and the better version of ourselves, we are able to master new habits and to become what we want to be.
